In 2010 I was diagnosed with a rare form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 31. I never thought in a million years I would have been diagnosed with cancer at such a young age, but it was the turning point in my life. For years, I wanted to be a doctor, but gave up on those dreams and worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade. Once I beat this beast I knew Naturopathic Medicine was my passion.
I am licensed as a primary care physician in the state of Arizona and received my doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Many of my clinical hours were focused on cancer care, women’s health, IV therapy, and chronic disease. Prior to my doctorate, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Spanish from Arizona State University. Go, Devils!
I am originally from Phoenix, AZ, but grew up outside of Washington D.C. as my father is now retired military. Since 1992, Phoenix has been my home. I am an older sister to my Brother who is a Border Patrol Agent and my parents are happily retired in downtown Phoenix. Away from the office, my other passions include pets as I own my own pet sitting business. I also enjoy staying healthy, working out, cooking, family game nights, movies, hiking, paddle boarding, and spending time with my fireman.
